PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator, in which food can be cooled to a predetermined temperature, and the temperature is prevented from having influence on other food items stored in the refrigerator. SOLUTION: An infrared sensor 56 is installed unprotrusively on the ceiling of a switching chamber 22, to detect temperature of hot food S placed on a mark 64 on a vessel 52 in the chamber 22. When the temperature detected by the sensor 56 has reached the predetermined temperature, the cooling is stopped. |
