PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for economically producing polyester moldings reducing the energy cost on production improving staining of a mold, and in which the moldings have excellent transparency and crystallization rate stability, and. SOLUTION: The method for producing polyester moldings comprises (a) a step of producing a low polymer by esterifying or transesterifying an aromatic dicarboxylic acid or its functional derivative with a glycol or its functional derivative, (b) a polycondensation step of polycondensing the low polymer, (c) a water treatment step of subjecting the resulting polyester to contact treatment with water, (d) a contact treatment step of subjecting the polyester to contact treatment with at least one member selected from the group consisting of a member made of a polyolefin resin, a member made of a polyamide resin, and a member made of a polyacetal resin, and (e) a molding step of subjecting the polyester to melt molding. |
