PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transfer system through which a user who is not familiar with the operations of a personal computer easily conducts a data transferring and an intermediate processing associated with the transferring. SOLUTION: When a computer receives a transfer preparation request, the computer transmits music data to an intermediate processing terminal. When the data are received after a processing, the computer stores the processed music data and comes to a standly condition for a data transfer. When a transfer request and the address of the transfer destination are received during the standby, the computer transmits the processed music data to the terminal of the transfer destination based on the received destination address. A remote control terminal transmits a transfer preparation request to the computer in accordance with instructions from the user and transmits a transfer start request to an audio equipment. When the intermediate processing terminal receives the music data, the terminal conducts an acoustic effect processing for the data and transmits the processed music data to the computer. When the audio equipment receives a transfer start request, the equipment transmits its own address as the transfer destination address together with the transfer request. |
