PURPOSE: A method for preparing a green light emitting strontium·europium·thiogalium fluorescent substance is provided, to obtain the green light emitting strontium·europium· thiogalium fluorescent substance massively by not using toxic H2S gas. CONSTITUTION: The fluorescent substance is represented by Sr(1-x)EuxGa2S4, wherein x is 0.01-0.2. The method comprises the steps of mixing SrS, Ga£(CH3)2NCS2|3, £(CH3)4N|{Eu£(CH3)2NCS2|4} and S; and sintering the mixture in a dual furnace-type box furnace at a temperature of 600-1,200 deg.C. Preferably the mixture is inserted into the inner furnace and active carbon for preventing the oxidation of active materials is inserted into the outer furnace. A melting agent for the growth of crystal is added to the mixture to 1.0-30.0 wt%, which is at least one selected from the group consisting of sodium chloride, sodium fluoride, calcium fluoride, aluminum fluoride and barium fluoride. The content of S is 1.0-50.0 wt%. |
