PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rice cooker free from the expansion of a peeled part at a resin coating layer coated on the inner surface of an inner pot of the rice cooker. SOLUTION: This resin coating layer 5 is layered on the inner surface of an inner pot 1 formed of metallic material through a primer layer 4, and a sealing layer 7 is formed on the surface of a metallic material 1 with material having high adhesive strength with the material 1 on a part of the layer 5. Thus, though peeling (swelling) A is expanded, a hole part 6 is formed at the part of the layer 7 on the layer 5 and water and air is made to escape through it to prevent the expansion of the peeling (swelling) A.
