PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile station position detecting system capable of indicating the position of a mobile station in a latitude and longitude system with little error on a car navigator. SOLUTION: A first portable telephone 2 of a mobile station receives and detects radio waves from a plurality of base stations 4, and transmits IDs for identifying the base stations 4 and the reception field intensities of the radio waves to a second portable telephone 13 connected to a car navigator. The second telephone 13 transmits the IDs and the reception field intensities of the radio waves transmitted from the first telephone 2 to a server SV via a base station 3 at the car navigator, thereby receiving latitude and longitude information representing the position of the first telephone 2 from the server SV. The car navigator 1 with communication functions monitors field intensity data that the first telephone 2 successively transmits and keeps it transmitting the data until becoming stable data, thereby obtaining position information with little error. |
