PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily manage the operation of each game machine and device for a game in a game parlor and promote sales of a prepaid card in the game machine and the device for a game which can be played by using the prepaid card. SOLUTION: In a control method for the device for a game including the game machine allowing the use of the prepaid card, the control information (information for causing the prize winning state of the game machine, the information for canceling the prize winning state of the game machine and so on) for controlling the operation of the game machine is written in the prepaid card, whereby when the game machine is used by the prepaid card where the above control information is written, the operation of the game machine is controlled according to the written control information.
