PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin foam having vibration-damping properties and containing a tourmaline ore which generates large amount of minus ions and has deodorizing and purifying functions, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The resin foam having vibration-damping properties and containing the tourmaline ore is produced by heating and expanding an expandable resin composition in which 5-50 pts.wt. of the tourmaline ore having a particle diameter of 0.1μ-0.1 mm, 1-20 pts.wt. of a blowing agent and a crosslinking agent are formulated with 100 pts.wt. of a mixture of a tri-block copolymer obtained by combining a polystyrene with a vinyl-polyisoprene and a polyethylene resin.
