PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tending machine mounted with weeding and plowing claws 24 for performing a plowing work on normal rotation and weeding work on reverse rotation at the rotary shaft 23 for its center drive, capable of treating the remainder of the weeding occurring below a transmission case 21 for transmitting a power at the central part of a rotary shaft. SOLUTION: This tending machine is provided by installing a weed-separating body 99 for pushing the weeds in front of the transmission case 21 aside to right and left for making the weeds conventionally left over as not weeded, easy for striking with the claws 24 and reducing the remainder of the weeding. The weed-separating body 99 is made as functioning as a resisting rod by thrusting its lower part into the ground during the plowing work for eliminating the exclusive resisting rod to aim at a light weight and cost reduction. Further, since the weed-separating body 99 is installed as extended until in the vicinity of the claw 24 just at the outside of the transmission case 21 for inducing the weeds conventionally left over as not weeded until in the vicinity of the claw 24 just at the outside of the transmission case 21, a sure and stable treating performance of the remainder of the weeding is obtained.
