PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phosphor powder which has few defects and hardly exhibits degradation, i.e., the decrease in luminance, even when used for a long time. SOLUTION: This phosphor powder comprises a core material, an activator, and a coactivator. The core material consists of elements of the group II-VI. The content of the activator is 1×19<-4> pt.wt. to 1×10<-3> pt.wt. per pt.wt. core material. The molar concentration of the coactivator is the same as that of the activator. |
