METHOD TO CONTROL CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To offer a method to control a continuously variable transmission without previously setting any constant gear ratio to be supplied at the time of changing over between different ranges of a torque sensor. SOLUTION: The method includes a step to determine and/or make adaptive adjustment of at least one changeover point or region of the torque sensor, and at the changeover point or in changeover region, the torque sensor is changed over from a first to a second range, and changing-over is conducted, for example depending upon at least a first operation characteristic value and/or at least a second operation characteristic value.
