<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic reverse function in a recording mode by a simple structure. SOLUTION: This tape driving device is provided with a direction slider for switching a tape traveling direction to a FWD direction and an RVS direction, a REC slider 22 for forming the recording mode (REC mode) of recording signals on a tape and a control arm 74 provided with a control part 76 acting on the direction slider while the REC slider is pushed. In the REC mode, the control part of the control arm interferes with the part to be controlled of the direction slider and inhibits the slide. Also, when a tape end is detected, the control arm is operated by an end detection arm and a direction slide inhibition state in the REC mode of the control arm is temporarily cancelled.</p> |
