PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple rug having sufficient cushioning and insulating properties, excellent portability and ease of use and great facility. SOLUTION: The simple rug comprises a paper tube assembly 2 (a honeycomb structure) that normally maintains a flat state and develops into a honeycomb state by force and a plate body 4 in which the plate body 4 is foldable in half at the middle and each of both end parts thereof in a folding direction consists of each of bendable bend pieces 3 joined to each of both sides of the paper tube assembly 2 in a developing direction. The paper tube assembly 2 is developed according to development of the plate body 4 and used as a floor cushion.
