PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating removal tool for an optical fiber in which cleaning is conducted without directly brought into contact with a bare fiber, elimination of a coating layer and cleaning of the bare fiber are continuously conducted and the workability is made superior. SOLUTION: The tool is provided with a first grasping section 11 which has a linking end that is mutually connected and an opening end that is mutually opened and closed in a free manner, a second grasping section 12, a pair of edge sections 41/42 which are arranged on the open end sides of the sections 11 and 12 and a pair of sweeping members 21/22 which are arranged on the opening end sides outside the sections 41/42 and used to sweep the optical fiber. |
