摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect more reliably that an abnormal load is applied to a load detection part by a collision or the like. SOLUTION: Curved parts 18a and 19a provided on front- and rear-side brackets 18 and 19 supporting a seat 10 toward a vehicle body are flexurally deformed in proportion to a load imposed by the weight of a passenger seated on the seat 10. A load sensor 20 provided for the curved parts 18a and 19a detects the load based on the flexural deformations and outputs a voltage signal VA of size corresponding to the load to a signal processor 21. The processor 21 generates a load detection signal VD clamped within a voltage range corresponding to a preset passenger weight load range from the voltage signal VA outputted by the sensor 20 and outputs it to an output end 21a. When the load detected by the sensor 20 is a collision load set within a load zone falling out of the passenger weight load range, the processor 21 outputs an abnormal load detection signal VF different from the detection signal VD to the same output end 21a.
