PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable reduction of heat in motor. SOLUTION: A CPU 14 makes drive controls 11 and 13 controlled to bring both of transistors 10 and 12 into an off-state upon start of a stepping motor, not only bring the transistor 10 into the off-state but also bring the transistor 12 into an on-state when stabilized, and bring both of the transistors 10 and 12 into the on-state at a stop. A phase current I2 when the stepping motor is stabilized, in particular, is made smaller than a phase current I1 upon the start thereof. |
