METHOD FOR INSERTING SYNCHRONIZATION DATA TO MODULATION DATA, AND RECORDING MEDIUM THEREOF

PURPOSE: A method for inserting synchronization data to modulation data and a recording medium thereof are provided to minimize the decrease of recording capacity of the recording medium due to the insertion of synchronization data. CONSTITUTION: A method for inserting synchronization data to modulation data includes the steps of receiving channel data of modulated frame units(S10), checking the sequence on sectors of the received channel data frames(S12), and generating and inserting sector synchronization data of different bit length according to the checked sequence, wherein in the turn of a first frame of the corresponding sector in the checked sequence, generated sector synchronization data has longer bit length than the synchronization data to be inserted into any other frames than the first frame(S13).
