PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device constituted so that a leak from an electrifying roller can be prevented and also image-flowing can be prevented even in the case a pin hole exists on the surface of a photoreceptor drum without causing such problems that the cost is increased and the device becomes large in size, also, the life of the photoreceptor drum can be prolonged, and to provide a process cartridge loaded to the image forming device. SOLUTION: As for the image forming device and the process cartridge loaded to the image forming device, the photoreceptive layer of the carrier includes at least one kind of PC resin (I) having the viscosity mean molecular weight of <1.5×10<4> and one kind of PC resin (II) having the viscosity mean molecular weight of >=1.5×10<4> , and the PC resin (I) is incorporated in composition constituted of the PC resin (I) and the PC resin (II) at the ratio of 30 to 95 pts.mass, and as for a contact electrifying means, the length of the conductive layer is equal to that of the resistance layer in the longitudinal direction, and also, the surface of the resistance layer end part is nearly parallel to a supporting body, and the film thickness of the resistance layer is >=300μm.
