PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a playing machine by which a player can enough enjoy interest of a play without getting tired of the play by having the player perform a play with a new sense which has never existed before. SOLUTION: Each of reel drums 40 is provided therein with a cylindrical holding part 43 for holding a picture pattern sheet 50. The first picture pattern F1 is drawn on the picture pattern sheet 50. The second picture pattern F2 is drawn by using a coating which generates a visible light when a non-visible light with a specified frequency is irradiated on the outer peripheral face of each of the holding parts 43. An illuminating member (for example, a UV lamp 70) for irradiating the non-visible light with the specified frequency is arranged at a position facing to the holding part 43. The second picture pattern F2 is made visible by irradiating the second picture pattern F2 by the illuminating member to perform a play using the second picture pattern F2.
