<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a nucleoside without isolating a 1-phosphorylated sugar derivative as crystals. SOLUTION: This method for producing the nucleoside, comprising removing the protecting group of the hydroxymethyl group or carboxyl group of R<1> and R<2> or the protecting group of the hydroxyl group of R<4> from a compound represented by formula (1) or its salt, and subjecting the phosphate group and a nucleic acid base to an exchange reaction, is characterized by carrying out the removing reaction and the exchange reaction of the phosphate group with the base in a water-soluble solvent, thereby producing a compound represented by formula (3) or its salt without isolating the compound of formula (3) or its salt as crystals.</p> |
