PURPOSE: A cover for opening and closing vent holes of the back cover of a TV is provided to prevent impurities such as dusts from entering the vent holes and to radiate heat generated from the inside of the TV only when the TV operates. CONSTITUTION: A cover for opening and closing vent holes(14) of the back cover(12) of a TV includes adhesive pieces(16) that are placed at four corners of the inner side of the cover and have guide paths, and a rectangular plate placed at the adhesive pieces. The cover further includes an opening/closing part having open holes formed at one side and closed faces formed at the other side, a guide pin formed at both sides of the plate to be inserted into the guide path of the adhesive piece, and a motor(34) for moving the plate horizontally.
