PURPOSE: Provided is a roller for water towel which changes the relaxation of a belt side as the thickness of a sheet material properly so that it enables to roll the sheet material without being related to the thickness of the sheet material. CONSTITUTION: In the roller for water towel which comprises the parts of: an endless belt(45) which is rolled and placed between a drive roller(42) and a slave roller(44); and a contact member(35) which is aligned with keeping an opposite side at a belt side(45a) of the relaxation side in the endless belt by sending the drive roller, the roller for water towel is characterized by sending the sheet material inserted between the belt side and the contact side from the drive roller side and rolling in a stick type by friction with the contact side.
