PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bracket which enhances the efficiency in installation work on an installation site. SOLUTION: The bracket comprises a placement portion (2) installed in the horizontal direction so that a supported member (9) such as cable rack can be placed thereon; a mounting portion (4) which is formed at one end of the placement portion (2) in the plumb direction and is mounted on a mounted portion (3); and a connecting portion (5) which connects the lower end of the mounting portion (4) with the other end of the placement portion (2). The connecting portion (5) is provided in an area in proximity to the lower end of the mounted portion (4) with a recessed portion (6) which is recessed toward the placement portion (2) from the straight line connecting the lower end of the mounting portion (4) and the other end of the placement portion (2).
