<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable setter and remover which enables the user to attach a cable protective tube to an aerial distribution line extremely easily and besides quickly and safely without fail with good work efficiency, and to remove it irrespective of season. SOLUTION: This device is composed of a roughly U-shaped base substance 1 where horizontal arms 2 and 3 are arranged sideways at a specified interval above and below, a fixed catching piece 4 of specified length which is attached downward to the upper horizontal arm 2 of that base substance 1, a mobile catching piece 6 fitted with a specified length of guide plate 8 which is arranged upward under it so as to oppose that fixed catching piece 4, and a screw shaft 11 fitted with a connecting metal fitting 15 for a live-wire operation bar inserted into the upper and lower horizontal arms 2 and 3 so as to move that catching piece 6 freely of vertical motion.</p> |
