PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent passage disturbance at an automatic ticket examining machine which is used for entry and exiting. SOLUTION: The automatic ticket examining machine which is used for both entry and exiting is provided with a control means which makes it possible to insert a train ticket for exiting when a train ticket for entry is inserted into the insertion slot of the main body of the automatic ticket examining machine and then extracted from the extraction slot of the main body.
