PURPOSE: A method and a system for image processing by using GPS(Global Positioning System) information are provided to obtain images of an object with continuity in the position recording and the precision in the recording time by linking the GPS information. CONSTITUTION: A method for image processing by using GPS information includes the steps of focusing a shape of an object(S110), receiving GPS information from a GPS satellite(S120), obtaining images of the focussed object shape and processing the GPS protocol for matching the received GPS information with the images(S130), assigning areas for matching the processed GPS information with the obtained images(S140), and displaying and storing the images including the GPS information as the image and the GPS information are matched(S150,S160).
