PURPOSE: Provided are dielectric ceramic composition and ceramic capacitors having high relative dielectric constant, large Q value, and low temperature coefficient of resonant frequency in the high frequency region. Also, the composition enables low temperature sintering so that the production cost is saved. CONSTITUTION: The microwave dielectric ceramic composition comprises the components of: xBaO-yNd2O3-zTiO2 (0.05<=x<=0.30, 0.05<=y<=0.20, 0.65<=z<=0.75, and x+y+z=1) as main components; 0.1-15wt.% of PbO, 0.05-15wt.% of Bi2O3 and 0.5-25wt.% of glass based on ZnO-SiO2 or Li2O-Al2O3-SiO2 as auxiliary components; and optionally 0.005-2.5wt.% of at least one rare earth oxide selected from Y2O3, Ho2O3, Dy2O3, Yb2O3 and Ce2O3, up to 3wt.% of PbO or Bi2O3, and 0.005-2pts.wt.(based on 100pts.wt. of the dielectric composition) of Al2O3. The ceramic capacitors are produced by pressing the above composition into a bulk or sheet shape, forming an electrode(2), made of non metals(Cu, Ni, W, Mo, etc.) and carbon materials, on a compact(1), and sintering at 850-1050deg.C.
