PURPOSE: A cooling apparatus of a brake system for a vehicle is provided to prevent vibration at the initial stage, and to restrict increase of temperature by converting frictional heat generated from a brake disk into electric energy in braking. CONSTITUTION: A cooling device of a brake system for a vehicle is composed of an energy converting unit(40) converting frictional heat into electric energy in contacting to a brake disk in a pressure pad(21) of a brake assembly installed in a wheel; and a conducting unit(50) applying direct current power to the energy converting unit through an axle rotating the wheel. Vibration is prevented, and overheat of the brake disk is restricted by converting frictional heat generated in the brake disk in braking into electric and heat energy.
