PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning machine the head of which can be tilted from the hand-operating end. SOLUTION: In the cleaner, which is provided with a brush 20 tiltable forward and backward at the tip of a handle 12 having a handle part 13 at a rear part, provided with freely rotatable rotary brushes 21 and 22 and a motor for rotating these brushes 21 and 22 at a head 20 and provided with the power switch 14 of the motor at the part 13, a handle 12 is arranged in a pipe 11 extending to the neighborhood of the part 13 from the top end part of the handle 12, and a locking mechanism 50 for slide-moving the pipe 11 along an axial direction with respect to the handle 12 to tilt the head 20 by slide-moving of the pipe 11 and fixing the pipe 11 at an optional sliding position is provided.
