PURPOSE: A method for hardening a hose length unit on a mandrel and the mandrel forming a hose is provided to form the mandrel into a base rod wherein an opposed leg is fixed and to combine the leg to the base rod in a fixed method or install the leg to a rod to vary the position of legs each other. CONSTITUTION: A method of forming a curved hose(20) and a mandrel(10) for forming the curved hose is composed of a hose length unit inserted into a multi-legged mandrel to form the curved hose, the mandrel having at least two legs(12,14) and the opposing ends(22,24) of the hose placed on the mandrel legs not to support a middle section(28) of the hose with an internal mandrel, and the unsupported portion of the hose, which is straight or looped to form a more complexly curved hose, held in an original position by an external mandrel.
