ACTIVE CARBON FIBER-CONTAINING PROTECTIVE CLOTHING FOR REMOVING TOXIC GAS AND NBC MATERIAL

PURPOSE: An active carbon fiber-containing protective clothing for removing the toxic gases and nuclear, biological and chemical (NBC) materials is provided, which is lightweight and can be recycled. CONSTITUTION: The active carbon fiber-containing protective clothing comprises an outer cloth(1) which is waterproof, oilproof, flame retardant and disguise-treated; an active carbon fiber(2) which is placed under the outer cloth(1), is surface treated or metal deposited and removes the toxic gases and NBC materials; and a reinforcement cloth(3) which is placed under the active carbon fiber(2), prevents the leakage of the active carbon fiber(2), and has good air permeation and wearing feeling. Preferably the active carbon fiber(2) comprises a cloth capable of being processed and non-woven.
