PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner in which fog, electrification stability, environmental dependence of electrification and rising characteristics for electrification are improved. SOLUTION: The toner having inorganic fine powder and toner particles containing at least a binder resin, a coloring agent and wax has the following features. (a) The toner contains a sulfur-containing polymer. (b) The dielectric loss tangent (tanδ) of the toner measured at 100 kHz frequency shows the maximum in the region from 100 to 125 deg.C and the maximum ranges from 2.5×10<-2> to 8.0×10<-2> .
