PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an optical lens by which an optical functional part can be easily formed. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the optical lens includes an optical lens preform manufacturing process to manufacture the optical lens preform 40 having a first optical member array 11 prepared by arranging a plurality of first optical members 10 each having a curved face 10a on its side and a second optical member 20 disposed to be in adjacent to and to surround the first optical member array 11, a drawing process to draw the optical lens preform 40 into a desired outer diameter, and an optical lens manufacturing process to manufacture the optical lens 1 by cutting the drawn optical lens preform 40 into a desired length. The curved face 10a of the optical lens preform 40 drawn in the drawing process functions as the optical functional part which effects on the incident light or emitting light. |
