ADJUSTING DEVICE FOR AUTO-FOCUSING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that an auto-focusing device which is mounted on a conventional camera and measures a distance by active triangulation by using a PSD easily measures a distance incorrectly since the output current of the PSD becomes small when the distance to a subject in a long-distance area is measured. SOLUTION: This adjusting device for the auto-focusing device of a camera computes an adjustment value from two charts which have the same distance and different reflection factors and stores it in a storage means in the adjusting process of the range finder in the manufacture of the camera and corrects the adjustment value (error component) corresponding to a long-distance area through the correcting operation of a computing means when the long-distance area wherein noise affects measured distance data is decided when a photograph is taken.
