PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a finishing oil for elastic fiber, having excellent antistatic properties and improved adhesion prevention performances between fibers in producing an elastic fiber. SOLUTION: This finishing oil for elastic fiber is characterized in that the finishing oil comprises an amphoteric surfactant (A1) and/or a cationic surfactant (A2) and a base oil (B) and has 14-35 mN/m surface tension at 25 deg.C and 1×10<7> -1×10<13>Ω.cm volume resistivity at 25 deg.C.
