PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a personal digital assistance with excellent operability by which a user can stably conduct photographing while having it in one hand. SOLUTION: The main body of the mobile information terminal comprises a 1st case 1 forming a base side and a 2nd case 2 forming a cover side, one-side ends are turnably connected by a hinge 3. A display device 4 is placed in the front middle of the 2nd case 2 and a receiver 5 is placed to an upper part of the display device 4. A camera 9 and a mirror 10 are placed side by side on the rear side and a telescopic antenna 8 is vertically disposed to an upper end. Besides, a plurality of operation buttons 6 are placed in front of the 1st case 1, and a microphone 7 is provided to a lower part of operation buttons 6. One of the operation buttons placed in the vicinity of a connection part to the 2nd case 2 among the operation buttons 6 is shared as a shutter button S operated to execute the photographing of the camera 9.
