PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly fetch an object captured by a camera in an output picture at the time of compositing pictures photographed by a plurality of cameras into one output picture. SOLUTION: In this picture compositing method, input pictures photographed by a plurality of cameras are converted into bird's-eye pictures 23 and 24, and those two bird's-eye pictures are composited into one output picture 25. In an overlapped area 26 where the two bird's-eye pictures are overlapped in the output picture, pixels 27 of the bird's-eye picture 23 and pixels 28 of the bird's-eye picture 24 are alternately arranged by every pixel.
