PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repairing method excellent in the adhesion to an old coating film and capable of obtaining a cured film excellent in weatherability and antistaining properties. SOLUTION: In the method for applying a repairing material to the coating film of a structure directly or after a primer coating film is formed to repair the structure, a composition containing a polymer having a maleimide group, for example, a copolymer of imidoacrylate/cyclohexyl acrylate/isobutyl mathacrylate/2-ethylhexyl methacrylate/hydroxyethyl methacrylate/styrene or the like is used as the repairing material.
