PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic flashing device capable of accurately detecting abnormality of a charging circuit of a DC/DC converter with a simple structure. SOLUTION: A prescribe current is run through the primary winding of the transformer 106 of the flyback DC/DC converter by control of a semiconductor switch 107, the semiconductor switch 107 is turned off after a prescribed time, magnetic energy stored in the transformer 106 is discharged from the secondary winding by current discharge, and charging current is run to a capacitor 109. A voltage induced in the primary side winding which is discharging the secondary current after the semiconductor switch 107 is turned off is compared with a prescribed value to determine if it is normal or abnormal, and if it is determined abnormal, further charging is stopped. |
