<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water heater, in which temperature of high temperature water HW in a hot-water storage tank 1 is prevented from dropping as far as possible, and a high temperature water-supply is enabled for a longest possible duration of time. SOLUTION: The water heater comprises a hot-water storage tank 1, a hot- water supply pipe 15 connected to the top of the tank 1, a water supply pipe 13 connected to the bottom of the tank 1, and a heating mechanism for heating water in the lower part of the tank 1. Thermal insulation sheets 50 are provided at vertically optional positions in the tank 1 in order to restrain vertical movement of the water. When a mixture stratum mx approaches to the sheets 50 in the tank, the sheets 50 suppresses movement of heat, accordingly drop in the water temperature of the high-temperature water HW is reduced, and hot- temperature water supply is effected for a long period of time.</p> |
