<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vapor-type hydrophilic immersion heater, in which release of bubbles generated on the surface of the heater at liquid-heating time is accelerated to improve heat-temperature efficiency, and provide further vapor-type heating equipment provided with the heater. SOLUTION: The immersion heater comprises a heater pipe and a drain pipe. One end of the heater pipe is closed and the other end is provided with a cap to which a vapor-supply duct is attached. The material of the heater pipe is carbon, which is obtained by making it impervious, and then subjecting the surface to hydrophilic treatment with an acid or an alkali.</p> |
