<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic latent image developing toner having high fixing strength, superior long-term stability and transferability, usable for forming a high definition image and having a small particle diameter and narrow particle size distribution and to provide a method for producing the toner. SOLUTION: The electrostatic latent image developing toner is characterized in that it is constituted of a resin containing at least a carbodiimido group or a uretonimine group, and preferably the amount of the THF-insoluble component of the resin is <=20 mass%, and when the resin is heated at 150 deg.C for 1 min, the amount of the THF-insoluble component increases to >=50 mass%.</p> |
