RESIN COMPOSITION, METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME, TONER RESIN COMPOSITION AND TONER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a toner for an electrostatic charge image development having mechanical strength (as for brittleness) capable of bearing a practical use and grindability, excellent low-temperature fixing properaties and high- temperature offset resistance, a toner resin composition to be a toner binder for the toner, a resin composition to be a main component for the toner resin composition and to provide a method for producing the resin composition. SOLUTION: The resin composition comprises (A) a low-molecular weight resin containing at least an aromatic component and/or a functional group selected from an ester group and a hydroxy group and (B) a thermoplastic resin. The resin composition contains >=0.5 wt.% of an insoluble component when 1 g of the resin composition is dissolved in 100 ml of methylene chloride (25 deg.C). The toner comprises the resin composition.
