PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording head and an ink jet recorder in which a sufficient ink delivery per nozzle can be ensured while reducing crosstalk by increasing the density of nozzle arrangement in a matrix head arranged with a plurality of nozzles. SOLUTION: A pressure generating chamber 102 interconnected with a nozzle 105 and a common channel branch 108 have triangular crosssections arranged upside down from each other in the horizontal direction in order to increase the density of nozzle arrangement. When the angleθof a barrier wall 109 partitioning the pressure generating chamber 102 and the common channel branch 108 is set in a range of 32 deg.<=θ<=53 deg. with respect to the horizontal direction, both an ink delivery bringing about a sufficient image density per nozzle and a sufficiently large acoustic capacity causing no crosstalk or delay of refill time can be satisfied.
