PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermotropic liquid crystal polymer improved in anisotropy and weld strength, its composition and a processed product thereof. SOLUTION: This thermotropic liquid crystal polymer is obtained by copolymerizing a trifunctional naphthalenehydroxycarboxylic acid represented by the general formula [I] (either one of m and n is 1 and the other is 2) and/or its reactive derivative with other polymerizable monomer.
