PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an additional information distributing system, with which additional information, such as advertisements can be distributed to a portable telephone set, while securing convenience of call by the portable telephone set, and to provide a portable telephone set used for this additional information distributing system. SOLUTION: In an advertisement distributing system 200, advertisement information stored in a storage part 211 is outputted to a multiplexing part 213 by an information output part 212 and after signal multiplexing the advertisement information outputted by the information output part 212 and call voice information inputted from the other telephone set not shown in the figure is generated, the multiplexing part 213 outputs the signal to a demultiplexing part 111 of a portable telephone set 100. Then, the signal outputted by the multiplexing part 213 is demultiplexed to the call voice information and the advertisement information by the demultiplexing part 111, the advertisement information demultiplexed by the demultiplexing part 111 is saved by a saving part 112 and, on the basis of the advertisement information saved by the saving part 112, information to be displayed on a display part 114 is generated by an information generating part 113.
