COATED FILM REMOVING EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily and definitely removing an old coated film or a coat before the coating for repair for steel structures or the like. SOLUTION: A high-frequency heating coil 5 as heating means is provided on a mobile carriage 10 movable along the surface of a steel structure 50. Removing means comprising an air motor 18 and a grinding brush 7 rotated by the motor 18 is provided in the rearward of the coil 5 in the carriage 10. Thermocouple terminals 20a, 20b are each provided at a bottom of the carriage 10 which is in the vicinity of the coil 5 and the structure 50. There is provided a control section which controls heating by turning ON/OFF a supply of current to the coil 5 in accordance with a detected signal from the terminals 20a, 20b.
