PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor and a cover capable of suppressing deterioration in workability.SOLUTION: A motor comprises: a rotor; a stator core formed by laminating a plurality of magnetic thin plates, and that surrounds the rotor; a cover that covers the stator core; and an upper bracket and a lower bracket that sandwich the stator core and the cover. The cover includes: a surrounding wall part opposed to an outer peripheral surface of the stator core; an upper wall part sandwiched between an upper surface of the stator core and the upper bracket; and a bottom wall part sandwiched between a bottom face of the stator core and the lower bracket. At the surrounding wall part, an expansion and contraction part that permits expansion and contraction of the surrounding wall part in a lamination direction of the plurality of magnetic thin plates is formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
