PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery device having structure that can uniformly cool the whole battery unit while miniaturizing a cooling fan. SOLUTION: This battery device 35 comprises a plurality of batteries 351 enclosed in a battery frame 352 of rectangular solid shape. A cooling fan 38 is provided at the front part of the battery frame 352, and a second cooling fan 39 is provided at the rear upper face. The front cooling fan 38 and the rear cooling fan 39 take in air from the front of a vehicle body and supply it into a passage formed between the batteries 351. The cooling air after cooling all the batteries uniformly is exhausted outside from an air exhaust port 354. The battery device 35 is provided with stays 355, 356 so as to be fixed to a vehicle body frame at the lower part of a step floor of a motorcycle.
