PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transfer device capable of using conventional software, even when it is serially connects a CPU to a peripheral element, in order to reduce a harness, etc. SOLUTION: This data transfer device is provided with a CPU 11 for conducting data access with an address bus 3, a data bus 4, a read/write control signal 6 and a timing arbitration signal 5, a parallel-serial conversion means 11 having a parallel-serial conversion function for converting bus data of the CPU 1 into serial data and for transfer data converted into serial data by the parallel-serial conversion function, and a serial-parallel conversion means 12, having a serial-parallel conversion function, for receiving the serial data transferred by a transfer means and converting the serial data into parallel data and for generating the address bus 3, the data bus 4, the read/write control signal 6 and the timing arbitration signal 5. The serial-parallel conversion means 12 satisfies access timing of an element 2 for connection to a subsequent stage and also controls internal timing of the parallel-serial conversion means 11, in matching with timing, when data access is completed. |
